You will find a column where you can change/transform the Note Pitches. Set the Mapped Instr object to 'No Port' and create a track for the Mapped Instr in the Arrange.
CAN I EDIT EZDRUMMER MIDI MAP CRACK
Some solutions I have read are to go into the brain of the DTX and change the MIDI channel output of each pad, which I cannot do as I have also read that the Yamaha DTXplorer does not offer this option, and to draw up a custom drum map within Logic, which I have attempted to do using Hyper Editor although I can not seem to crack as I am not 100% confident with it yet. You can create a Mapped Instrument object in the Logic Environment and cable to the Ezdrummer Channel strip. Is there a way, just as you can change the input on an audio track, that you can change the midi note input from an external trigger? Sort of like a 'real time transposition'? I just need some way of re-routing all the wrong triggers to their correct note values. The map determines which MIDI note number is sent out for each drum sound and which sound is played on.

When you play back a MIDI track for which you have selected a drum map, the MIDI notes are filtered through the drum map before they are sent to the MIDI instrument. It seems the DTX doesn't conform to the GM standard, as the kick drum on the kit is triggering the snare on EZdrummer, the snare is triggering the cymbals, etc.Ī detailed example: The kit is outputting the kick drum on A0, when it should be C1. A drum map is a list of drum sounds with a number of settings for each sound. I was told, that due to GM MIDI, it was as simple as plugging in my DTX and away we go. I am attempting to run my Yamaha DTXplorer electronic drums through MIDI to trigger my EZdrummer kit sounds in Logic 8.

I have been google-ing for days trying to find an answer to my problem.
